Introducing Stone Lighting’s New Black Cable System.
Determine what you are trying to light. Choose from our own proprietary Cable and Heads. Head and Accessories can be found in the Cable Light Section. You may choose compatible Heads and Pendants that attach to cable using our EZ Jack Cable Light Adapter.
Note: Plan the run of cable within 24 inches of a junction box. Determine how many feet of cable you will need.
First add up the wattages of the lamps so you can choose the correct transformer. You can choose a remote transformer with power feed canopy for the cleanest look. Note: With remote transformers you must be able to access the transformer.
A surface transformer simply mounts to a junction box. To learn more about selecting surface mounted versus remote transformers see page 56.
You will also need to support cable by choosing a set of turnbuckles for each end of cable attachment.
Cable supports are needed only if cable run is over 20 feet or if pendants or heavier elements are chosen.
Diming Guide which includes recommended Dimmer Types & Minimum/Maximum number of Lamps for each Transformer.
Consult our Maximum Distance Guide for maximum allowable distance on Cable System and Power Supply.
This compatibility list states THERMAL, PHYSICAL and ELECTRICAL compatibility between Soraa 12V MR16 lamps and the listed fixtures.
This list does NOT refer to dimming compatibility. For this, refer see transformer/dimmer compatibility lists on www.soraa.com. This list has been compiled based on data made available by fixture manufacturers on the date it was made.
Soraa is not responsible for changes made by manufacturers on their products. Soraa recommends to confirm with the fixture manufacturer the transformer’s brand and model inside the fixture during the planning.
